A rotary evaporator is a distillation device that includes a condenser and a rotary flask system. When the flask containing solvent is rotated, a liquid film continuously forms on the inner surface of the flask, providing a very large surface area for the evaporation of the solution in the attached water bath. It is an essential tool for regular laboratories.

Very suitable for daily experimental applications, including:

• Solution concentration
• Solvent recovery
• Vacuum drying of moist solids
• Degassing of liquids

RE400： Rotary evaporator with inclined condenser, used for standard distillation process
RE401： Rotary evaporator with vertical condenser, suitable for distillation of high boiling point solvents
RE402： Rotary evaporator with cold trap condenser, suitable for using ice, dry ice or low boiling point solvents. No need for cooling water.

In order to increase the safety of using a rotary evaporator in a vacuum environment, the condenser, receiving bottle, and rotary bottle can all be coated with plastic. This plastic coating serves as a safety protection layer, wrapping glassware inside. It can ensure that potential harmful chemicals will not overflow when glassware breaks, allowing users enough time to transfer chemicals.
